Your JVTN® training is delivered over the modern web — courses run on desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, Android tablets and smartphones using any current browser. The platform uses adaptive HTML5 video, so quality scales automatically to your connection and device.

A note about smartphones

Lessons play in full-screen on phones, which means a few interactive-video features and admin reporting screens are best experienced on a tablet, laptop or desktop. For learners, phones are fully supported for watching courses, completing chapters and taking quizzes.

Internet Explorer is not supported. Adobe Flash is no longer used anywhere on the platform.
Screen Resolution The site is fully responsive and adapts from large monitors down to phone screens. A handful of admin reporting screens are best viewed at 1280 × 720 or higher; users below that will be prompted on those specific pages.

Cookies Required — first-party cookies must be enabled. Third-party cookies must be permitted for *.lightspeedvt.com when using single sign-on or embedded widgets. Required — same as desktop. On iOS, leave Prevent Cross-Site Tracking disabled for the training domain if you use SSO.
Pop-ups Allow pop-ups for jvtn.com and *.lightspeedvt.com. A few lesson types and certificates open in a new window.

TLS 1.2 or higher on outbound HTTPS (443). WebSocket connections must be permitted. If your dealership filters or proxies web traffic, whitelist the domains below to avoid video buffering and login issues.

Proxy Servers A caching proxy can interfere with video streaming and progress tracking. We recommend connecting directly wherever possible. If a proxy is required, exclude the whitelisted domains above from caching.
Audio & Video Working speakers or headphones. Hardware acceleration enabled in the browser for smooth HD playback. A webcam is not required for training delivery.
